Account Summary

The account summary page is where you can see all the envelopes for an account. NeoBudget organizes your money into virtual "envelopes" which tell you how much money you have available for a designated purpose. For instance, you can create an envelope for "Electric Bill" and add a little bit each paycheck to that envelope. By the end of the month you'll have enough to pay the electric bill.

You can organize your envelopes however you want. You can give them any name you want, and you can arrange them to be grouped by category. Notice in this image how all the bills are in the middle and all have a blue background.


History

NeoBudget keepts track of every transaction you make. The image below shows all of the transactions in the "Checking" account. You can also list all the transactions in a specific envelope so you can see all your grocery-related purchases, or how much you spent on gas this month.

Adding and Subtracting Funds

It is easy to record deposits and debits in NeoBudget, and it's very flexible. You can split a transaction out across several different envelopes. For instance, the image below shows a deposit into the "Savings" account for $600. $300 of that went into an envelope of savings for a new car, and $300 went toward a cruise.
